  Surprisingly unfriendly staff. My experience with the staff at valhalla vancouver has been exceptional that is why I had such high expectations. They were very Unhelpful when we tried to get a price matching that was previously spoken. We were Truly disappointed

  Nice outfitter store with a good selection of clothes and gear for hiking, backpacking, climbing, kayaking, etc. They have most of the usual brands - Arc'teryx, Patagonia, Kuhl, Black Diamond, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful.

  A great all around outdoor shop with climbing, backpacking, paddling(including packrafts) and ski gear with a maps and books section, plus cordage and webbing by the meter. The owner Murray is a local knowledge expert, providing first hand info on lots of activities around the area.
